The Energy System Builder by gridbuilders.org is a free, open-source web application designed to simplify microgrid, solar PV, and energy storage modeling. Built for clean energy practitioners, researchers, and project developers, it provides rapid system sizing, load curve matching, and yield estimation without paywalls or vendor lock-in.
Open Source & Open Access: GridBuilders provides free, community-driven software tools to accelerate clean energy adoption worldwide.
Free means Free: Unlike other SaaS applications that charge you for all the good stuff, we are community focused and provide everything that is not intended to generate income.
